New Paint = New Living Room

Cody woke up on Friday and decided that he wanted to paint the living room. I thought, "Finally, we get to paint!" Now, all I need to do is finish painting the girls' rooms. But, in the living room, we had painted it a light tan last year and decided it was too light. Well, Cody got a 5 gallon bucket of Taupe paint from his dad that we now used on the living room. It looks so much better now!

This is the new paint job! You can't really tell what the color is exactly, but you get the idea. What it really looks like is an antique brown with a tint of red! In this picture, there's the painting of the mountains. When it was on the wall with the old paint, it just blended in and wasn't anything special. Well, with this new paint, all the colors stand out! It's beautiful! The whites, blues, and greens! It's perfect! Cody's grandma painted that, but afterwards decided that she didn't like it because the bridge looked like it was looking at her! We really like it, though!
